Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Castalia Quarry MetroPark for its stunning, almost unreal scenery and rich historical significance, noting its well-maintained trails and natural beauty. While generally a positive experience, some mention that it can get crowded, and it's important to be aware of the park's division by a highway.
"This place is pretty neat. Scenery and the history of this place is also very interesting. Limestone for building stone and the Ohio turnpike originated from here when it was still in action. From the early 1800's to 1965. During the great depression it was closed and reopened in the 1950s.
Very cool place whether you're here just for a simple hike/walk or getting dragged into all the history here. I just started hiking this area last year. I'll be coming back this year more than last year."
