What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Veterans Oasis Park for its beautiful scenery, diverse wildlife, and peaceful atmosphere. The walking trails, fishing lake, and Nature Center are frequently highlighted as enjoyable features. While generally well-loved, some visitors might find the park can get busy during peak times.
"The Veterans Oasis park has different walking trails, offers a lake for fishing, several benches for bird-watching, large covered ramadas, the Chandler Nature Center (Chandler Native Plant Oasis), and much more. Offers different signs to learn about wildlife and how to be safe.
I came in early morning in mid-October and the weather was amazing. In the morning it was about 60 degrees. The park was active: people walking the trails, fishing, several people walking their dogs and there was a group of people with their dogs getting dog training classes. The park still offers plenty of space to enjoy your time outdoors."

"What a beautiful park! Came here for a jazz concert in the evening and decided to come earlier to check out the Nature Center, walk around the lake and go a little off trail to the man made running creek. So fun that my granddaughter wanted to walk around 3 times. A lot of people came to fish. Springtime the cactus blooms were so pretty."
Judy Rivas
"I enjoyed this park. There is a small waterfall and lots of different creatures. Birds, lizards, fish, squirrels, gophers, and a cat. The nature center was also filled with interesting displays and pamphlets about Maricopa parks and desert landscaping."
