"What an amazing little piece of history.
I can't wait to get back and visit.
We were pleasantly surprised when we seen the historical marker and followed its directions on a whim and was brought to the Como project.
I know some train enthusiasts that will be extremely jealous of my experience."

"From a former railroader, this is a really great slice of history. Saw the landmark sign from Hwy 285, and snuck on over for my railroad loving kids. What history this little town has!

For those actually wanting to see the roundhouse, note that I posted the 2024 events. This is only open a few times per year, so if making an impromptu visit like we did, expect to just walk around and see it from the angles in the photos I've posted. Still super cool to see!

If you travel further up the road, and to the right along the old tracks, you'll find the old depot! Let your imagination go and step back in time. I sure hope efforts are in place to not only restore the depot and surrounding buildings, but also the main thoroughfare through town. A ghost town in the middle of an active community. Wow!"
