Hiking and being and nature is so therapeutic and one of my favorite places that I have grown up going to is Cedar Ridge Nature Preserve 🌾 I just go out there and go with the flow, exploring new routes and taking in all of the greenery. If you’ve never been I would highly recommend checking it out. #hiking #nature #outdoors #cardio #walking #trails #hikingtrails #dallas #outdooractivities #dall...

📍Cedar Ridge Preserve, Dallas Saturday morning done right!! It was free entry to the preserve and it had numerous trails! Each trail was short and easy! You can do multiple short trails depending on how much you want to walk! Most of the trails we did had shade so it was easier to complete multiple trails without getting drained by the heat! . . . . . . . . . #travel #travelgram #duiyatri #duiy...

"Cedar Ridge Preserve is one of the best trails in Dallas for real elevation and a solid hike. The trails are well-kept, with a mix of shaded woods and open views, plus some steep climbs that make it feel like a real workout. Beautiful scenery, wildflowers, and great lookout points over the hills and lake. If you plan to go on the weekend go early because parking fills up fast. Definitely one of my favorite spots for hiking!"

Elizabeth Flores

"Cedar Ridge has definitely become a favorite hiking spot of mine even though I live 45 minutes away. If you are looking for beautiful covered trails and hiking for all ages this is it! There are some trails which are challenging with elevation gain and others that are nice and easy. One huge plus is they have water coolers throughout the park and air conditioned bathrooms at the entrance. Just know they are usually pretty busy, especially on holidays and the weekends."

Brendan Bigler

"Good trail to walk, there’s a few to choose from depending on how long you want to walk. Wear proper shoes as there’s area where roots are a little out and can trip, bring water as it could be a long walk, restrooms are in the area upon arriving, there’s refillable water in certain places on the trail, snakes may or not be seen but they are there since I’ve walked there I haven’t encountered one but stay alert, there’s some inclines, steps to go up and to come down. Very nice cool place to walk. Closed on Mondays"
