"This is a nice area to visit in Daytona. However, be aware that due to storms, a lot is under repair. They have the sling shot and another spinning ride, fountain (was down for repair), places for shopping and to eat. The pier was great to walk out on and interact with those who were fishing to see what they were catching. The views are just amazing. Will come back to see this area again one day."

"Would not recommend this area. Small beach area that was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned of seaweed in what appears to be awhile. There was a fair amount of vagrants lingering and sleeping in the park. Food shower was flooded and inoperable. If you want to relax, head north a bit to find a better beach spot. Felt I had to be on guard here."

"We only had about 30 minutes, so we took time to dip our feet in the warm ocean water. Right across the boardwalk is a water features and shower to rinse off and cool off as well.
The humidity was brutal, but the view was spectacular."
