Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Eureka Springs Historical Museum for its depth of content and engaging exhibits, especially considering its size and location. Many appreciate the detailed look at the town's history and the unique artifacts on display, with some highlighting the helpfulness of the staff. A few reviewers felt the admission price was a bit high for the size of the museum, suggesting it could be donation-based.
"For the size of the town, this is a 5-star review. There are 2 floors filled with artifacts, history, and stories of before the town was founded, the founding, the peak years, and the status through to today. The first floor (3 connected rooms) covers that. The top floor has interesting artifacts like a permanent hair wave machine, a scary looking life-sized doll, artwork, and a bedroom set up as if it were 1890. Took us about an hour and 15 minutes. There was a gentleman when we came it (don't know his name) with a beard that was very helpful. He left 45 minutes later when someone came in to take over."

"Seriously amazing. It's very well thought out, considerate, and incredibly well curated museum. The museum's exhibits are well organized and many have interactive components that teleports you into the early days of Eureka springs. Our favorite were the refurbished steam box, as well as the audio recordings ( a collaboration with local thespians) of old letters and records of how life was in the old days. Upstairs is super cool as well showing the swedish influences, and how the folk art scene flourished in the town!"

"Building is beautiful. Not much to look at inside. Should be free with donations appreciated. Been to at least a dozen of these small town museums and have seen a lot more in smaller towns. The museum could offer some nice events that monetarily benefit them instead of asking five dollars for an entry. Nice that the town at least has something though."
