What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise North Table Mountain Park for its accessible trails, stunning panoramic views, and the unique 'hike to brewery' experience. While some sections involve scrambling, most find it manageable. The park is a popular spot for dogs and offers a great escape close to Denver, though the lack of shade and potential for mud after rain are noted drawbacks.
"This trail is not as difficult as others would lead you to believe. Although there were definitely some parts where you had to scramble, I would say there were only a couple instances where it was a low class two. If you're there for hiking, you'll be fine. I can see needing trekking poles if you are hiking in winter. Otherwise this was really a wonderful hike with some fun scrambling. Be careful if you have bad hips or knees. No shade. Plan ahead. Saw tons of lizards, and really cool beetles. Can't wait to do it again!"

"Amazing views and not that difficult of a trail. Super easy drive and amenities very close by. Recommend trying to catch the sunrise or sunset at Lichen Peak."

"It was so peaceful—birds chirping, with deer and even a coyote adding to the serene atmosphere. This time, the trail was a bit muddy due to melting snow, which meant fewer people and a quieter experience. It’s a great place to connect with nature, surrounded by beautiful rock formations, graceful trees, and unique vegetation.
There are restrooms at both the West and East entrances. Both were clean, though they didn’t have soap. The restroom near the East entrance is off the main trail, located in a nearby park. It’s a non-flush toilet with no sink. The area also seems ideal for running and biking."
