What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Hadley Mountain Fire Tower hike for its stunning panoramic views and rewarding summit experience. While the steady, rocky incline presents a good physical challenge, most find the effort well worth the breathtaking vistas. Some note the final ladder ascent on the tower may be a deterrent for those with height concerns.
"Amazing hike with a great reward at the end. Yes, it is a lot of uphill and stepping up on rocks. You'll work muscles you never knew you had on the way back down too. But it's quite a view, expect to spend some time up there soaking it all in, and you should!"

"We arrived just after 8:30am on a Sunday morning and there were a few other cars already in the lot. The hike is not technically very difficult but it is a pretty steady climb with some steeper sections of exposed rock face. There are some nice views at the summit. I did not climb all the way up into the fire Tower cab because there is a ladder at the very top instead of another set of stairs and I was not comfortable climbing that. Trails seemed to get pretty busy around 10:00 a.m. and when we got back to the lot just after 11:00 it was full and people had started parking on the street. Lots of dogs on the trail, ours really enjoyed this hike."
