What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the People's Bank Arena (formerly XL Center) to be a convenient venue with a good atmosphere for sports and entertainment. While many praise the ease of access and helpful staff, some note issues with seat condition and restroom facilities. Overall, it's a popular spot for local events and major touring acts.
"Was here for a concert over the weekend. Artist was amazing. But the highly expensive new arena that was built, not so much. The lights in our area were on for the first two hours of the show. There’s millions of tv screens why not use them through out the show??? Especially the Jumbotron…There are no cup holders, the event staff was very rude with directions when trying to leave. What an absolute nightmare everyone compiled in the hallway at a standstill like a bunch of cattle at an auction. Not to mention they had many exits closed off in the hallways so there’s no where’s to leave! Do better Peoples Arena."

"Terrible venue. Went this weekend to see Stevie Nicks. She was amazing however I'd never return to this venue for another show. The seats are smaller than an airline seat with NO cupholders which means people's drinks spill all over the floor (which they did and soaked one of our jackets during the show, just nasty). I'm 5'6 and the legroom was so sparse that my knees were hitting the edge of the seat in from of me. EXTREMELY uncomfortable and claustrophobic seating arrangements. Also the ladies room bathrooms only have 5 stalls! The lines for the ladies room wrapped around the entire middle floor. Ridiculous! And to top it off we heard it was recently remodeled. You'd think they would have learned some things and made actual upgrades to the venue. I would never go to another event here. 100% DO NOT recommend!!"

"went to Stevie Nicks , show was great . Ladies bathroom lines were insane and most food vendors were closed halfway through the show and like any show your gonna pay for a drink !!! Was clean and staff helpful"
