"You can visit this site quickly and it won't take long. I was expecting more of a driveway to the ruins but the ruins are on the right as you go there and parking is on the left. Be careful crossing the road. Traffic was constant when we visited. A little bit of fascinating history that is easily accessible. Over by the parking area is the largest wild grape vine I have ever seen. I thought it was a tree at first."

"An interesting historic site which let's your imagination run wild. The Yulee Sugar Mill ruins was not something I thought I'd visit but here we are. I love old stuff and this place was definitely old. I just happened to see the sign and ventured there. It's going to be remodeled soon. It looks like the recent hurricanes did some damage. Wondering what life was like back in the 1800's was part of the charm. There is also a small park with a pavilion across the road with a few parking spots. Definitely old and Definitely interesting. Pet friendly too."
