Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Twilight Epiphany Skyspace for its unique artistic vision and the mesmerizing light sequences, especially during sunset. Many find it a peaceful and inspiring place for reflection. However, some reviews mention the structure's condition needing maintenance and the potential for technical issues with the light show, which can detract from the experience.

"Visited there a long ago. Since it was our first time, we parked at Rice Village parking garage and walked there. And it was a long walk. Later we get to know that you can park in the nearby parking lot. The Skyspace is free for all. The pyramidal structure was built in 2012 and accommodates 120 people between two levels. The structure is located on top of grass covered hilly area with a 72 ft square roof. The roof projects the LED light sequence during the show.

We reached there 20 minutes before sunset and sat in the upper viewing area. A lady was describing the history and process of the Skyspace. And at sunset, the light sequences started. We were amazed to see the LED light sequence. Definitely recommend it if you are visiting Houston. Remember to check out the website before visiting to know about any closures."

"Located inside the University. It looks like an art piece and it lights up after sunset, although sometimes it doesn't turn on due to technical difficulties. If you really want to see the lights, it might be a good idea to call first before making the trip over. The Moody lot is pretty close and it's a paid lot. I don't think there are any free ones on campus. Be carful where you park as some are restricted and you will get towed. That being said, the campus is very peaceful and it's a nice place to take a leisurely stroll. We enjoy coming here in the evenings for sunset."

Tommy Chen

"If you’re at Rice, come see it. Otherwise don’t waste your time or money. You’ll have to pay parking and there’s construction at the moment. You can still access it by going around the construction but the light show isn’t working and there are no signs alerting you. Website says it should reopen in Spring 2025."
