"We love this little getaway within the city. My son and I have been visiting as many nature centers as we can. We actually came camping here earlier in the year. Had a great time. The staff/volunteers were amazing and very knowledgeable. Today was got to sit in for the remarkable reptiles talk. Leo was wonderful leading the class. He handled the kids questions very well. After the talk we hung out at the playground ate lunch under the covered area, and we went on a hike on the trail."

"I planned a camping trip for my family and my close friend and her family for Memorial weekend. We had a wonderful time! I have been camping here on and off for the past 12 years and I love it. The cabin is the perfect size. The trails are easy and beginner family. They now have a playground and shaded picnic spots. I love visiting the nature center and the kids loved it too. It’s a great place to spend the day or the weekend. It’s really a hidden gem in Houston."

"Have been coming here for almost 30 years. Finally convinced my husband to take our RV here during spring break. Have not Been in over a decade. Always been a beautiful place and reminds me of home. They have added so much stuff, and it has changed so much for the better ! Our RV spot was very nice. Every spot has its own very short private path to the lake. Can see the water from your spot. The spots are not on top of other people and have a decent amount of privacy. The bathrooms and showers were SPOTLESS and very close. The nature center is a fun place for children and the staff were so friendly and welcoming and engaging with my children. They have added very easy access to the beach of peach creek 🍑 since I have been years ago. I can’t wait to return !! 💕 🏕️"
