Insider Tips

The greenery on the pathways going to and along Spring Creek are a little more overgrown and harder to access since I was here last year. Just FYI if you’re coming to fish. We saw five deer this time and all the turtles were out 😊 #humbletx #houston #nature #houstonspots #houstontexas @ericspookydookieG59

"We visited today for the Retile preview day. A very fun class for kids aged 3+ the speaker (I didn't get his name) was very informative and answered all the question the kids had even the very unrelated one to the best of his ability. We decided to stay and visit the turtle pond. The front desk at the nature center does have turtle food. We also enjoyed a small hike and saw some amazing snakes, turtles and lizards on our hike. I highly recommend visiting this park if you are in the area. My kiddo and our friends and their kids enjoyed the very shaded playground as well. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting again very soon."

Brandy Rivera

"Really lovely, HUGE park in Humble. My kids call it the turtle park. It has a really large geocache collection and one of the biggest ones I’ve ever seen. The nature center is very detailed and they have a lot of activities for all age ranges. I wish they had some kind of collector’s souvenirs like travel patches or something since they’re one of the biggest parks in Harris County’s Precinct 3, but we will continue coming back regardless."

Morgan Whitney

"Great large park that connects with the rest of the spring creek greenway trails and has a large beach for fishing and a boat ramp. The park has mostly paved trails and some dirt ones, there are many mosquitos and snakes depending on the season."
