"It was wonderful, to be on the beach and know the lifeguards were there watching over everything. There is so much history about the station, the people who man it and carry on generation after generation. I admired their dedication and learned a lot while talking with them."

"Beautiful beach, with lots of walking space for social distancing..! Loved the sunrise, free parking"

"Jacksonville Beach is beautiful and quiet. There's a convenient walkway to get onto the beach. The parking is nearby. Be sure you get your ticket as soon as you park so the cameras don't alert the parking attendant to put a parking ticket offense on your vehicle. None of the signs say to pay before you walk off the lot. I'll definitely choose this beach again as it was easy for me to walk. There is an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off your feet on the way back to the car."
