What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Hurricane Creek Trail for its beautiful scenery, especially the waterfalls and wildflowers in early summer. The main trail is family-friendly, though the path to the second waterfall offers a more challenging adventure with river crossings. Some note potential fees and the need for sturdy footwear.
"Great early summer hike with a wide variety of wildflowers. The main trail is very well maintained and our younger children did great without too much assistance. One segment of the trail borders a steep cliff and there was a slick log crossing over a fast flowing creek, but otherwise the journey went smoothly. There is a branch off the main trail not far from the parking lot which leads to a waterfall. This side trail is poorly maintained and crosses slick gravel washes but we found it worth the extra effort for a great view."

"Beautiful hike!!! If you take the falls Creek trail it will lead you to the beautiful waterfall which is a short walk. After you see the waterfall, go back and continue on the left trail that follows the river to reach the other waterfall. You will have to cross the river, you will see tree trunks on the left side of the trail in the water that will help you cross the river.
$5 fee that you can pay on-site."
