What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The KC Streetcar is widely praised as a phenomenally nice and free way to connect key areas of Kansas City. Visitors appreciate its well-located stops and the convenience it offers for exploring downtown, the River Market, and Union Station. While some wish for broader connectivity similar to other cities, the current route and upcoming expansions are seen as significant improvements for urban mobility.
"Phenomenally nice (and free) streetcar. Well located stops, and future expansion to even more sites (The Plaza). Lots going on all up and down the line. Note, this doesn't review their maintenance facilities, which I'm sure are great, but the actual line itself which doesn't seem to be possible the way Google has it cataloged."
Fritz Golman
"This was okay. Kept us warm and out of the cold. Wish it was setup more like Denver. We had to get on a bus to go to the rental car location. Then after dealing with the mess there. We had to drive into KC. Just wish it was more like Denver. Would have rather paid for a tram than being overcharged at the car rental location."
Abbey Miller
"Great (free) connector thru downtown and the river market. Hope we get the riverfront & nkc extensions! Also connects right to union station for amtrak (and hopefully regional rail in the future)"
