"We had the privilege of hosting our second golf classic in honor of FDNY firefighter John Deery, benefiting The NY Firefighters Burn Center Foundation, on Monday, May 19, 2025. For two consecutive years, the exceptional Yvonne, general manager, has gone above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. From the golf carts to the delectable food, her outstanding team provided us with everything we needed and more. The egg sandwiches for breakfast were truly a New York delight, BECOR (if you know you know), while the BBQ lunch, and burgers, and hotdogs were simply exceptional. The golf course itself was breathtakingly beautiful, immaculately maintained, and lush. We are forever grateful to Yvonne and her remarkable team for making our golf outing an unforgettable success and an absolute blast for everyone involved. We can’t wait for next year to continue the tradition."

"Par 3 and par 4 only, easy and fun experience which would've easily been a 5 star experience for today, but it drops to a 1 star
Reason: a group behind us kept complaining about us even though we were held back due to the group in front of us taking a long time but since we didn't want to be A-holes and complain about them we got accused. A Caucasian male with glasses was in the group behind, and he said he works there. I guess it was his day off. He gets in our face and ruins our first experience at Kissena course, which, as I said, was a great 5-star experience. They need to be careful of who they hire, even if it was his day off. If he's gonna mention that he works there, then he represents the course as a worker there so my 5 star drops to a 1 star, hire better people"

"Would be a fine muni with some challenging elevation change holes but because it's short and all par 3-4, and because it draws a lot of newbies, it's barely playable on weekends. I lasted 15 holes clocking in at 4h 45mins. Insanely slow. The starters need to tell newbies to play from the front tees not the back ones. And why do they close the bathrooms so early?! Makes no sense."
