"While most people stop at the beach, the tidepools along the eastern edge of the bay, down a short flight of stairs, provide an incredible vote into different types of basins, as the range includes deep, shallow, relatively stagnant and warm (for those closer to the cliffs), and constantly cooled and refreshed (with some cool ocean saltwater brought in with nearly wave). Therefore, there are both turbulent and still pools. This is an E-ticket experience compared to man-made aquarium tide pools."
