"We are vacationing here from Texas and we always make it point to visit as many museums as we can. This one did not disappoint! Great staff! Wonderful exhibits! We made it in time for the shark feeding and we really enjoyed it! Animatronic dinos were really cool! This is a must for museum lovers! They have a really great Egyptian exhibit! "Although I do have young children, I am on a trip without them this week and wanted something to do in Vegas that wasn't a casino. I came across a discounted ticket for the natural history museum through a third party site for $9 and decided to go.
As a solo adult it took me about an hour to walk through all the exhibits. I imagine if I would have had my children with me, it would have been closer to 3 hours.
I found each exhibit interesting, but especially enjoyed the replica of King Tut's tomb.
The museum staff were all very nice and it was also super cool to meet an archeologist in the lab downstairs working on fossils. Overall I'd highly recommend coming here, with or without children :)"
