Orleans casino
Hello! I used to go to the Orleans hotel and casino to gamble and play video poker over 10 years ago. Haven’t been to Vegas since 2015. I’m wanting to stay at the orleans this summer for a quick two or 3 days but I’m reading yelp reviews and people are saying some horrid things.…

However, some reviews mention the need for updates, and caution is advised regarding the surrounding neighborhood, with ride-sharing recommended for transportation.
"Good hotel off the strip. My wife and I have stayed here a few times over the years and we have enjoyed our stays here. The rooms are nice but can hit or miss depending where they situate you. Some of the rooms have a strong cigarette smell and some of them smell amazing. Just varies but for the value you cannot beat it. The beds are fairly comfortable and they do offer extra amenities for a price. They have a great food court downstairs and the hotel has a movie theatre and bowl alley, which is cool. Considering, the price and location, I definitely recommend checking this hotel. Will definitely be staying here again in the near future."

"I was skeptical at first but I was thoroughly impressed!!! My floor (20) was clean and smelled amazing (smoke free) my room 2089 was even better! Clean, not one stain to be found, it had zero smoke smell, not one bug in sight, security in the building was amazing! The elevators were plentiful and fast, the casino was pretty big and lots of options, parking was plentiful and FREE! Self check in at the kiosk, quick and simple, also I didn’t have to wait until 3/4pm to check in, at 1pm I was able to get into my room! I was impressed but there is no fridge but I heard the desk agent telling a guest that if they needed a fridge for “medication” that one will be provided for free! But overall I was happy with this hotel/casino and to me it deserves every star google offers!"

"This is my go to place to stay and gamble. It has great benefits at the Sapphire level which is more than enough for me.
I tried staying at The Palms on a recent trip but felt out of my element and ended up going back to The Orleans to gamble.
Bailiwick has a good menu, lots of variety along with great food and service. After staying elsewhere, I decided to stick with The Orleans, it's just where I'm most comfortable knowing the layout and I like the atmosphere here. Some of the rooms have little nuisances like a squeaky barn door for the bathroom and are a bit dated, but good overall.
The Orleans is also located close enough to the strip if you want to hit up some of the larger casinos. Would definitely also recommend checking out Bailiwick if you're looking to try out a new restaurant or even McMullens across the street for a good Irish fry."
