"Little hideaway for sitting among the canal. It does have some cannons here to look at. In some cases, to sit if so inclined. There is a short brick path to the right which goes up to the Lewes Drawbridge. There are some benches along that path to sit and relax from the afternoon heat.
There is also a plaque talking about the bombardment of Lewes. This park is right next to a metered parking lot and across from the Post Office."

"It's Gorgeous! It's not a day long adventure, it's a very small park, but we use it as a place to begin our walk through the beautiful and historic Lewes. It is indicative of the pride that Lewes has in itself and one small treasure min a mound of them you'll find if you set aside 3 or 4 hours and walk this town, its smaller restaurants and shops."

"This is a very small park located on the water by the parking lot. It is very well kept, and the landscaping is beautiful. I visited in October and there were flowers which added color to the park. There are benches located along the walking path between the parking spaces and the water as well as some in the park itself. It has a lot of shady area. The view of water is nice, you can see huge boats and restaurants on the other side of the river."
