Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the TCL Chinese Theatre's historic grandeur and the immersive IMAX experience, calling it a must-visit Hollywood landmark. The Forecourt of the Stars is a major highlight for fans. However, some find the seating in certain auditoriums less than ideal, and the surrounding area can be overwhelmingly crowded and touristy.
"Famous Hollywood spot. Very lively and busy. Lots of vendors on the street trying to sell you souvenirs, tours,... Quite a lot of homeless people around... Didn't feel as safe as when I came 13 years ago... Police was more visible at that time which made it 'safer'"

"This is one of those must-see spots if you’re visiting Los Angeles. The outside is stunning, right on Hollywood Boulevard, surrounded by all the buzz of the Walk of Fame. You’ll also see the famous handprints and footprints out front, which is always fun to check out.
Parking is definitely the biggest challenge — almost impossible to find right outside. Your best bet is to use nearby side streets with meters, one of the parking structures close by, or park at Ovation Hollywood (though validation is only offered by some businesses there).
Inside, it’s a historic theatre with beautiful details and one of the best movie screens in LA. Whether you’re here for the history or to actually watch a movie, it’s worth the visit."

"I came to this theater for an Prime studio movie 🍿 screening of the movie G20 (must see movie). The staff was an amazing from the point of entrance to the concession stand to the seating assistants. The seats are comfortable and they do recline. This is a Historical Museum/Theatre nestled in the heart of Hollywood. You can also put your hands and footprints in the cements of so many stars. The royal red and gold colors are throughout the venue with beautiful ceiling to floor drapery. There are a few statues inside of the theatre. This is a very large theatre. The massive medallion.which covers most of the theatre ceiling is exquisite. The sound system in this venue is awesome. This venue is a touch of old Hollywood meets modern day. This a great place to see any 🎥 movie."
