"From a professional wedding photographer's perspective, this venue is perfect. There's history and beautiful architecture as well as a gorgeous garden. I personally loved that you were surrounded by nature at the venue, but still in a convenient location. I see from past reviews that people have complained about Steve, but from my experience my husband and I were treated well - Steve made sure we had silverware when got our dinner plates. The food was absolutely delicious. It was wonderful to have the getting ready, ceremony and reception space at the same venue. I'm looking forward to photographing more weddings at the Peterson Dumesnil House!"

"I was given the honor of officiating the wedding of two of my very close friends at this lovely venue. It couldn't have been more perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful & pleasant. The venue's bridal suite & groom suite were very nice. Everything was very clean & we all felt very comfortable. We very much enjoyed every aspect; from preparation & dressing, to the pictures, wedding & reception. I will gladly recommend this venue to any future couples I may marry.
