We finally made it to the Aviation History & Technology Center @ Dobbins. We literally live across the street. I’m annoyed that it took us this long to actually visit. We got board a C141b bomber and hear all about the plane’s journey from Lockheed to its four different combat missions from a Naval Vet. It was pretty incredible 🇺🇸✈️

"A Hidden Gem in Marietta, GA

The Aviation History & Technology Center near Marietta is a fantastic spot for both kids and adults who are curious about aviation and military history. We had a great time exploring the collection of unique, fast, and historically significant jets and planes—many of which were used during wartime, including World War eras.

The museum is well laid out with plenty of opportunities to get up close to the aircraft. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly, happy to share interesting stories and facts about the planes on display.

It's an engaging and educational experience that sparks curiosity and appreciation for aviation history. Highly recommended for families, history buffs, and anyone fascinated by flight!"

"Great aviation museum. It's inexpensive and can be a quick visit. The staff onsite are very friendly and generous with their time.

We had a tour inside the C-141B cargo plane, including getting to sit inside the cockpit. The tour guide was a retired pilot who spent a lot of time with us (luckily, we were the only ones there for that time slot)."

Khalid Hosein

"Step back in history and view the development of local flight design and building.
An outdoor museum perfect for individuals, couples, and groups of large numbers.
Near the square, but not walkable.
Enjoy the knowledgeable tour guides who's knowledge will astound the novice and enhance the hobbyist."
