Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Shark Valley Observation Tower for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Everglades and the abundance of wildlife, particularly alligators, visible along the tram road. The tram tour and biking options are highly recommended for experiencing the ecosystem. Some visitors note that it can get crowded, especially at the tower, and advise arriving early or visiting during off-peak times.
"We had a fantastic team trip with Adam and Barbara. Great information shared in a fun and engaging way. The tram is an especially good option on hot days as you’re somewhat shaded and have a breeze. One should definitely take advantage of the stop to visit the observation tower. It’s an easy walk and gives a great vantage point from which to look out over the park."

"Definitely recommend seeing! The elevation lets u see a lot surrounding including a water area where we saw turtles birds fish and a crocodile. There are volunteers ok top as well that help provide information and facts about the wildlife. There are bathrooms as well! We definitely enjoyed the tram up here but people can bike it as well."

"This is the best places to appreciate nature in South FL. This 14 mile round trip is a must if you want to see and hear nature in all its splendor. Biking or walking is the best but shuttles are available during day time hours. If you want to see experience something very different, biking to this Observation Tower at dusk and then returning to the parking lot by nightfall will offer this. Just be careful with the dark shadows on the path ahead which will actually be alligators laying on the concrete path. The sounds of all the dark critters will be incredibly loud and you will be enthralled with an abundance of fireflies literally right in front of you. Either way you will love this. Make sure to put on sunscreen, take plenty of water, smear bug repellent and enjoy."
