"I’ve been here several times and my most recent visit was last month on a field trip with our group. We got to do a ranger led Gap Hike and then a program called Skins and Skulls. Dr. Lucas Wilder led our hike and program and did a fantastic job. We really enjoyed our time here and the picnic area was nice too. The kids played in the creek when we finished eating.

There’s many trails to hike here and it’s an area full of history. I’ve hiked to the Hensley Settlement, sand caves, white rocks and the tri-state peak over the years. The visitor center is worth checking out as well."
