Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Discovery World for its engaging, hands-on exhibits that appeal to all ages, from young children to adults. The Reiman Aquarium and Great Lakes focus are particular highlights, offering unique interactive experiences. The beautiful lakefront location and helpful staff also contribute to a highly recommended visit for families and science enthusiasts alike.
"Our family spent 4 hours here and could have spent more. The kids were 7, 8, 9 and 11. The aquarium side was small but still interesting (we touched a sturgeon, ray, lobster and sea cucumber in the petting tanks) and the tech side was definitely cool. I’ve been to a fair share of natural science and children’s museums and there were things here I haven’t done. And a beautiful location overlooking the lake. I recommend this for a family friendly stop in Milwaukee!"

"I took e kids (15, 12, and 6) and every one of us had a great time! Arrived within an hour of opening and there was plenty of parking in the garage! The touch tank was a HUGE hit and the individuals monitoring were kind when correcting patrons and very helpful! All the staff were helpful and patient! The sensory bags were so helpful for our sensory sensitive kiddos!"

"This is a great place with to go visit with your family on a weekend or weekdays. If you are disabled they have wheelchairs. There are a lot of interested displays. They have a huge model of Milwaukee including Allen Bradley clock Tower. There are big displays with many different kinds of fish and turtles. There is a place where children can stand on the steps and touch surgeon and stingrays this is very fun but the water is a little cold. It also offers a great view of the lakefront and a little cafe where you can go buy burgers drinks and snacks. And a gift shop stuffed animals, jewelry, and a variety of other merchandise.. my daughter and her best friend got matching bracelets with stingrays on them and I got a stingray plushie for me and my son. A very enjoyable time. I would highly recommend it to people visiting Milwaukee or families looking for something to do on the weekend or days off of school."
