Reviews Summary
TPC Myrtle Beach is widely praised for its challenging championship layout and immaculate course conditions, especially its greens. Many golfers consider it a top-tier experience and a highlight of their Myrtle Beach trips. However, some visitors find the TPC Myrtle Beach rates to be high for the perceived value, and occasional issues with pace of play or course readiness have been noted.
"Very impressed. It was my first time here and I came by myself. Everyone on staff was very hospitable. And was even recommended other courses to play based on where I was staying for vacation. Course conditions were as expected based on the weather, but still in great shape! Pretty good for an $80 round! Highly recommend if you haven’t played before."

"One of my favorite courses in the world. We come to Myrtle every year for vacation and I can’t wait to step on the first tee at TPC.
The professional staff is always friendly and never skip a beat.
The golf course is very tough but fair with world class conditions. Definitely bring your A game off the tee.
The par 3’s are super pretty!!
Not sure you can find a course with better conditions. Especially on the greens.
Definitely add this to your itinerary."

"Wow. What a disappointment this place was. Played TPC Myrtle Beach on 5/31/25 and man am I lost for words. Paying $192 to play this course should be considered robbery. $80 course at best. The fact this place uses the name “TPC” to get by with such mediocre conditions is so laughable. The local municipal course in Charleston, SC is a better play than this place.
1. We originally had a 1:12 and 1:21 tee time. (Didn’t actually tee off til 1:50 and 2:00) But they were backed up on the first tee because “maintenance” was cleaning the course up from a storm that went through the area the day before. Mind you this excuse would be great if we had a 8 am tee time but it was a late afternoon tee time and therefore the course had PLENTY of time to catch up with “maintenance” But no the real problem is they over book the golf course and jam tee times in every 9 mins.
2. The real reason we were delayed was because the course ran out of golf carts. We had to wait for carts coming of either 9 or 18……….maybe you shouldn’t over book your golf course. Just saying
After hearing we were delayed with the start of our tee time because of carts. I went into the pro shop to tell them I can help you guys out and I will walk this afternoon. The gentleman behind the counter looked at me funny and proceeded to tell me the price of $192 includes the cart for the round and therefore I couldn’t get reimbursed a cart fee even if I did want to walk. Nice! 👍🏼
3. The course was so backed up from start to finish that it took my group 1 hour to play to play 3 holes. Cart path only too of course. 👍🏼
4. For $192 this is the condition of the golf course (please see pictures provided)…………Like I said, the local municipal course in Charleston, SC that I pay $25 to play has better playing conditions.
I will never play TPC Myrtle Beach course ever again and I will strongly recommend others to avoid this place as well. Especially since there are so many fantastic golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area. My hope is I can save someone from wasting their hard earned money on a golf course like this. I ended up playing 3 rounds. Tidewater, Grand Dunes, and TPC Myrtle Beach. TPC Myrtle Beach was the most expensive of the 3 courses and by far in the worst condition. 2 thumbs down to this place 👎 👎"
