"Best beach in Narragansett and walking across the street to the town and shops. Love the seawall, Coast gaurd house, and the beautiful sand. Fun place to learn how to surf from Warm Winds. Walk the beach all the way to the narrow river, past the dunes club. Incredible sand and waters to swim in. Fossilized Shark teeth have been found here too, along with cool sea glass. Great free concerts at the Gazebo that the town puts together. Parking can be a challenge. Get here early or late in the day. Enjoy and please help to keep the beach clean. You know what and who you might bump into while on vacation. Love stopping here on the bike tour! Especially nice to park here and go to beach after summer, when it’s free and the fence has been taken down."

"It was really fun swimming there. it had a pretty good temperature in the water. The waves were pretty good, but it depends on the day. I went with my friend and we had a great time together there. We got some food at the entrance each day and it was pretty good. However we thought that the hotdog basket would have been a basket of a bunch of hot dogs but it means that it just has fries. Cost to get it is good."

"Our absolute favorite beach—worth every minute of the 4-hour drive! We always choose it over closer spots. Why? Impeccably clean, every single time. The water is crystal-clear and the waves are consistently perfect for swimming and play. It feels like pure bliss. The only downside: parking is VERY tough for visitors. Most prime spots near the sand are resident-only permits, forcing out-of-towners to hunt further out. Despite this, we keep coming back – it’s that magical! A gem."
