Beach access for Narragansett town beach as some who doesn’t live in Narragansett?
Is there a way for me as someone who lives in pvd to go to Narragansett town beach during the day (in season) ? I know a few years back they made it residents only or something so I’m not sure. I was trying to see how much a parking pass would cost if you aren’t a resident of…

Narragansett beach/night walk/parking question Scarborough
We are on vacation in Narragansett about a mile from Scarborough Beach. How do we go for a walk on the beach at night??? Where can we park at night? I don’t want to walk a mile on a busy, dark road. I’d like to park, walk the beach, and drive back. Is this possible???

"Not sure why googles asking if you should buy tickets in advance- the sea wall is free parking! In off season there’s always parking and not too busy. Lovely views and places to stop for food and drink."

Scenic walk along the ocean that is about .8 miles one way (according to Strava). Flat. It runs from S. Pier Road at its southernmost point to Narragansett Town Beach at its northernmost point.
The wall is a paved walkway that somewhat accommodates two-way traffic but can be crammed and hard to pass folks at times. Essentially, with lots of traffic, it will feel jammed. Expect lots of traffic on summer evenings.
The walkway has excellent views of the ocean, a few restaurants directly on it, as well as houses and condos on the same street running parallel. There is parking for the walkway directly on the street and you can find parking with patience.
This isn't the most scenic walk of its kind that I have done, but it is probably great for most people."
