What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hillendale Park is praised for its well-maintained grounds, diverse play structures, and ample open space for recreation. Visitors appreciate the paved trail for walks and the peaceful atmosphere. Minor concerns include bathroom privacy and the creek bridge's safety for young children.
"This park is great, well maintained, and in a lovely, quiet part of Oregon City. The three different play structures are older but in decent shape.
Plenty of space to run in the big grassy field. Lots of benches and tables, and a covered picnic area.
There's a paved trail around the whole park which would be great for walking dogs or taking casual strolls.
A couple small problems--
The bathrooms were clean enough but there are no doors on the stalls and no way to lock the main door. Not the best for privacy or safety.
There's a small creek separating the parks into two areas, and the hand rail they have on the small bridge isn't kid safe. I could see my kiddo falling right in if I wasn't holding his hand. It's shallow but muddy and full of ducks.
All in all, stoked to find this new park for my kids."
