Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Reversing Falls Park as a hidden gem, praising its breathtaking natural phenomenon and serene beauty. The dramatic tidal shifts and the unique slack tide period are consistently highlighted as unforgettable experiences. While some note the lack of facilities, the stunning views and hiking trails make it a worthwhile destination for nature lovers.
"This hidden away park is a gem! Great views and hiking trails! If the season is right you might see a group of seals, eagles, and other sea water birds. The water rise and fall depending on the 28' tides is amazing! The slack tide, the smooth surface following high tide for about 20 minutes is amazing after the turbulence! Pack a lunch or snack and plan to be there awhile to see the changes created by the force of the water from the bays and underground ledge! Maliseet is the Passamaquoddy tribal word for "boiling tides". There are no restroom facilities here so plan accordingly. The gas station "Freshies" as you return to Rte 1 in Pembroke has clean restrooms."

"Such a beautiful, serene place to watch the sunset. Pure extraordinary beauty as you watch the water flow in one way, become completely still, and then flow the other way as the tide goes in and out"
Linda Medina
"Nice spot, very cool to look at. Went shortly before low tide and the change from crazy currents to glassy calm waters was fantastic. Decent short hike also, pretty hilly but not hard."
