"Early spring trip, stayed in site 12. Very spacious and private site. Was fairly level and easy to back the camper into. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water to shower. Numerous trails to hike and a lake for swimming. Did a ranger led night hike in which was awesome! They had UV lights for us to use and showed us how different plans and insects glow! Stopped at the little cafe/gift shop for ice cream and they even gave my dogs a little pup cup of vanilla."

"This was a gem of a park we were wonderfully surprised. The camping was great and trails were plentiful, well marked, and beautiful. The bog trail was one of my favorites and is an easy short walk. The camp store was a delight as well. They did not have much stuff to buy but that was okay with us. What made this camp store unique was the seating inside along with the little grill restaurant with a cook who must be one of the best cooks in the area! He made us a delicious lunch! We had a wonderful time there. The staff where delightfully knowledgeable and friendly! The bonus, the bathrooms were the best bathrooms I've ever experienced at a state park. We will definitely be visiting the Black Moshannon State Park again!"

"First time camping here. Came for a 3 night long weekend for Women in the Wilds program Saturday. Very professionally ran program. Campground was great with spacious electric site #43, hot showers, great hand dipped ice cream at the camp store, kayaked the gorgeous lake. *Note: cell service is great at cabin #20 which has 2 large parking lots but not enough room to turn around with a camper attached. Some got service at the water tower in the campground (1 bar) most didn't"
