"We came here for Father's Day and had a lovely time. We had a picnic lunch and then explored the grounds. Great customer service and wonderful museums!"
Dr. Andrea Wiggins
"We were able to go I to the lighthouse a d climb to the lense. I'm not sure if it's regularly open as they were having an event this day. It is wonderful to physically see history. If you're a broad shoulder person the climb up is very tight, especially the last piece, I would suggest not doing that. The Keepers house was also open for a walk thru. The issue on the grounds is sparse in what it has to view, but provides a lot of history."
Larraine Campbell
"Piney Point Lighthouse is a gorgeous, quiet spot that blends history with beautiful waterfront views. The lighthouse itself is small but charming, and the museum adds great context with interesting exhibits about the area’s maritime past."
