What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty of Watson Lake and its surrounding riparian preserve, highlighting the unique granite formations and peaceful atmosphere. The accessibility of trails and water activities like kayaking are major draws, though some note that the main trails can get crowded. It's a highly recommended spot for outdoor enthusiasts and families seeking a scenic escape.
"Love coming here to fish! Haven't caught one yet, but they always are sure to swim by and wave a fin, or jump out of the water in front of me."
Kelly Wright
"To enter this trail go to the Watson lake parking area off Prescott Lakes Parkway. The lot is directly across from the Humane Society Bldg on Sun dog ranch road. There's a 3- parking fee, Wednesdays are free. The Watson lake trail is beautiful but at times a bit crowded. This trail however is less traveled, and more remote, especially during periods of high precipitation. I would recommend wearing waterproof boots if you don't mind getting them muddied up. But if you prefer getting more up close and personal with the wildlife and/or looking to find great photo ops, this is your place.
Happy Travels ๐"

"Just a great place to walk or ride. Easy flat no rocks on the main trail. For walkers that want a little more, there are other trails that meander through beautiful rock formations. Beautiful views of the lake as well. Free on Wednesdays."
