Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Pueblo River Trail for its significant improvements, vibrant murals, and versatile recreational opportunities. The well-maintained paths are ideal for walking, biking, and dog-walking, with easy access to the river for kayaking and tubing. While the trail is generally well-loved, some visitors note issues with litter left by others, despite the availability of trash receptacles. Reddit

"This is a beautiful activity to spend a few hours enjoying. The last few years so much has been done to the areas around the river and lake in pueblo. The conservancy district puts a lot of effort into cleaning and fixing up the area. The new murals are so amazing and unique, something you must see when visiting pueblo. If you've ever been disappointed by any of it, give it another look, as it's completely different and better now. You can bike, kayak in the river, or just walk around the trails and the two new pedestrian bridges that were just added in the last two years. You can walk over the entire top of the levee now! Check it out!"

Tia Monson

"We had a very nice time and the weather was beautiful!"

Cara Elaine

"It's a great place to walk with your dog and get some exercise. Only downside is that people leave trash everywhere when theres a trash receptacle 50 feet away. Other than that, I love that they made the trail on the levee side."

This revitalization includes the addition of new pedestrian bridges and an extensive network of trails that now run along both sides of the Arkansas River through town. Reddit

Visitors can now enjoy a wide, concrete path that is ideal for various activities. The trail extends from the city center all the way to the ponds for fishing and even connects to the Pueblo Reservoir.
