What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors are captivated by the expansive four-state views and the unique, colorful graffiti art that adorns the rocks. While some find the graffiti detracts from the natural beauty, many appreciate its artistic character and the overall 'post-apocalyptic' aesthetic. The easy accessibility via a paved road makes it a convenient stop for a quick dose of scenery and unique visuals.
"I enjoyed the views very much. There was no trash visible. The graffiti was not objectionable. The nearby communications towers were cool, too. If you don't like them don't use wireless services. A big plus was the proximity of a string of wind turbines. Again, if you don't like them don't use electricity."

"Let me set the scene: incredibly trashy, post apocalyptic wasteland, slightly artistic... but before you decide against coming here, hear me out.
You kind of need to see it. The way up is littered with ragged outbuildings, towers, and wind turbines giving it an industrial feel. The overlook itself is covered with absolutely terrible graffiti giving it an artistic feel. There is some nature in here too, rocks.
Make no mistake, you won't find any hints of talent in the art. No diamonds, unpolished or otherwise. The artists aren't expressing themselves in the Summer before art school, they dropped out of high school and came up here with cans of spray paint. Half of the paint is for the rocks, and half is for huffing. That is the deal.
But yea...check it out, in the daylight, before THEY come."

"Even though there were clouds it was still breathtakingly beautiful!!"
