"I'm not sure if the island is part of the Rothschild Pavillion property or a separate entity. I'm surprised it doesn't have a name, or at least not that I could find.
It's a nice, peaceful fishing spot. Could be a good picnic area, too.
There are some short trails here, though the one going out to the farthest point is pretty overgrown. There are great views if you can get to it.
It would be nice to see a little more done with this. A gazebo or shelter with a few picnic tables and a grill or two would be welcome additions. Maybe some benches. A fishing pier going off the point would make a beautiful place to fish from.
There is a massive Japanese Beetle infestation here. The land owner or city should come down here and do something to mitigate this invasive species.
There is one gym here and several more Pokestops and gyms in the immediate area."
