We were driving from Phoenix to Bisbee and saw a giant cross off the highway and did a u-turn to find out what it was. And what an amazing decision that was. Curiosity turned in to a 2 hour adventure exploring.
From watching the Priest do communion, to exploring the grounds and buildings, the cemetery, the stations of the cross and the peacocks every second was a visual and mental experience we will never forget. To be clear, we are not Catholics so that’s not influencing this review. It is a beautiful place with beautiful scenery and provides peace and serenity that are hard to find in this world. I will be back to explore more. I honestly wish I could live in and live there.
