"Loved going through this museum and seeing the history of this small village. Free entry, not a lot of people so you can take your time and read things. It was great!"

Katelyn Burns

"Huge museum, lots of history preserved. There's the main building bunch of others that are just loaded with things of the past. There's an old school house still set up for class to start, Old church still used for weddings, the blacksmith shack, old log home you can walk threw with working hand pump. A couple of farm areas loaded with history. A small covered bridge. The train depot and the small train engine with 2 cabooses and train car. When we went, they had a bunch of model trains going. Its all FREE they do have donation box in the main build"

Carl Lowing

"I was driving by, checking out some back roads on my way across Michigan, when I looked over and saw the big yellow caboose! I got out to look and a friendly old man introduced himself as one of the caretakers. He showed me around several of the buildings and gave me an excellent tour of the place, which was really kind of him since I didnt realize at first that the museum was closed the day I showed up! Looking forward to coming back again next time im in the area. Highly recommend checking out this place, seems like they have a little bit of everything. Trains, logging history, Americana, pioneer life, even an old schoolhouse!"
