What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kemp Mill Urban Park is appreciated for its efficient use of space, offering challenging climbing structures and a tall slide that older kids adore. The tranquil pond and garden areas provide a peaceful escape, attracting birdlife. However, the playground's limited variety for toddlers and occasional pond cleanliness issues are noted drawbacks.
"This park is nice for older kids that like to climb. I would caution that if your kid likes to climb but they’re short this will be difficult for them to navigate. They have a few swings for different age groups but not many. The rubber mat needs to be repaired. If you have young kids, they do have a section for this age group but it’s lacking. There are only a few little interactive things but no slide or climbing structure for younger kids. There is a kids basketball court if your kids like to play basketball. It’s an ok park but not one that I would say is good for getting the wiggles out or one that has variety."

"Parents and children 10 and under really love the park. It is half urban nature retreat and partly a kids' place to have fun with fitness and friends. Moms have room to gather while the kids safely scatter. Others have posted the slide, swing, and obstacle climbing featured photos. Know there are soft materials underfoot."
James Hirsch
"This playground is on the smaller side, but there is good use of space. Lots of climbing areas with a tall slide. There is also a small basketball court. The garden, pond, and short paths make this area feel relaxing. You can park in the adjacent shopping strip."
