Reviews Summary

Five Mile Pond Park is a free, natural escape offering enjoyable kayaking and fishing opportunities. While many appreciate the relaxing atmosphere and clean waters, some visitors note issues with park maintenance and littering. Despite these drawbacks, it remains a popular spot for outdoor recreation and family time.

"It was phenomenal, honestly. I was there with my brother and we went kayaking together. The water was very warm and very clean. We even started communicating with a family when we pulled onto the shore to take a quick break heading back across the lake where the car was parked. It was a mother and father with their 2 kids and they asked to try the kayaks out and we immediately said yea sure. So we assisted them into the kayaks and explained the few key details for maneuvering safely when on the water and they all did great. It really was a pretty amazing experience all around."

Ryan Gorski

"I never thought that the view of this pond right in the surrounding area in the city was so nice and relaxing to enjoy a quiet moment and hear the water splash. After living in this city for 20 years, yesterday I had the opportunity to enter this park and take these photos."

"It was nice and clean Enough to swim in. Although I just went fishing. I just wish there wasn't so much branch in the way may line kept getting hooked. Aside from that it was free to enter and park it's a nice place to spend time with family friends and loved ones. They even had a porta potty and the police and security took turns protecting five Mile pond park all day."
