What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Agua Caliente Park as a beautiful and serene desert oasis, perfect for picnics and wildlife viewing. The lush greenery, tranquil ponds, and abundant shade are major highlights. While some note the water can appear green, the overall maintenance and peaceful atmosphere make it a highly recommended spot for relaxation and nature appreciation.
"There has been a lot work done on this park to recover from the fire and do other upgrades. Lovely place to visit, with shade and grass. Quiet. Good birding depending on the season. Nice trails. The water was green but that will eventually repair itself. The old ranch house is interesting and educational, and at the moment has the Philabaum art exhibit. Great volunteer staff!"

"A natural hot spring flows through faults beneath the park. There were originally two springs, a “Hot Spring” and a “Cold Spring”. The two springs once produced a water flow of more than 500 gallons per minute. Throughout the years, the area has had many different purposes, from fruit orchards to cattle ranching to a health spa. Today, it serves as a family park for large BBQ gatherings. Fantastic location for Birdwatching.
There are plenty of picnic tables, shade, flora, and wildlife. Gigantic eucalyptus trees, palm trees, and big Mesquite trees, all offering large shaded areas.
Bathrooms are available. No overnight camping, no fishing, no bicycling, and many other restrictions apply."

"Beautiful and serene location, perfect for photography and nature lovers alike. The lush scenery and vibrant wildlife create an ideal backdrop for capturing stunning photos.
It’s also a wonderful spot for a relaxing picnic. I frequently see families gathered under the shade of palm trees, enjoying quality time while children marvel at the turtles, ducks, and koi fish that inhabit the ponds. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting—an excellent escape from the hustle of daily life.
Below are a few recent photos I captured during my visit, showcasing just how picturesque and enjoyable this park truly is."
