What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate Armory Park for its historic charm, beautiful architecture, and its role as a downtown gathering space. It's seen as a nice spot for lunch or a picnic, with notable features like a WWII monument and a unique Griffin statue. However, some find the presence of homeless individuals disruptive at times, and ongoing park renovations can impact accessibility.
"It’s a nice little park to go have a lunch at. Some people complain about the homeless gathering at spots like this and annoying them. I have to admit I do get annoyed at times as well but we have to put ourselves in their shoes and only then can we understand. If I were homeless and desperate I would probably seek out locations like this as well. It’s an unfortunate situation but we have to accept it."

"It allows me to sit down and unwind on my walk home after work. There is a very cool WWII monument. A Carnegie Library is there which is now a children's museum. There is one of my favorite installations in Tucson. An awesome statue installation of a Griffen called Toby by a well known artist. It's a nice place to have a picnic or just have lunch if you work downtown. Enjoy!"
