"Large park. Quite a few trails. Confusing maps though. Thankfully there's a wonderful volunteer there, Sherm. He really knows his stuff and is eager to help. Restrooms and water available. A lot of the trails are very open with pines and little cover. You can spend an entire day there. And if you're really brave there are even more trails suitable for bikes that go miles into nowhere."

"Beautiful area for enjoying the outdoors. I hiked the yellow and orange trails. Yellow trail is a mostly wooded loop. Orange trail runs along the perimeter of the prairie. The back section of the orange trail was flooded but passable. Sherm and Linda at the log cabin are great people. Very friendly and helpful."
