Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about White Pocket's breathtaking, otherworldly landscape, calling it a must-see for its unique sandstone formations and vibrant colors. The primary challenge is the difficult 4x4 access, which requires a capable vehicle or a guided tour. Despite the rough journey, the stunning scenery and lack of crowds make it a highly rewarding experience for adventurous travelers.

"Gorgeous if you can make it. We drove up in our Rivian R1S with quad motors. The drive was a breeze with this vehicle with off road / sand mode and the instant torque from four electric motors. But if you don’t have a damn good 4x4 high clearance vehicle, forget about venturing up here. We saw a pickup truck stuck in the sand on the way out and we couldn’t help them. Once you finally get here it’s very pretty and quiet. Lots of sun. Good photos. I won’t ever go back but I’m glad we did it. We got back to Zion by nightfall and were fully drained. So tired. This place took a lot out of us. And we both swear at some point about 5-10 miles from white pocket there was something non-human watching us. Very eerie feeling. It’s wild out there. Tread carefully !"

"Absolutely unreal landscape — White Pocket feels like another planet! Swirling sandstone in red, white, and orange creates jaw-dropping formations you won’t see anywhere else. It’s BLM-managed and free to visit, but getting there is a real off-road challenge — you must have a high-clearance 4x4 or book a guided tour."

Imran Hanif

"Definitely worth it, you need to explore to appreciate it more.
The way going there is a really very rough road!
You should drive jeep, truck or any 4WD.
You might get stuck in the sand."
