"Wow!! We were so impressed with everything about this fort. 1st, beautiful scenery & water view. Free to park & walk around the grounds. Huge & lots of places to walk. Fee to get into the Fort but worth every penny. So much to see & learn. The man in the kitchen area was a wealth of knowledge & we appreciated the time he took to educate us in the first history. This is also the location of one of only 2 huge US flags on display. Don't miss this on your way to Niagara falls."

"It is a beautiful underrated place which you cannot miss on Your Niagra trip. We were lucky because it was school's field trip and there were people explaining everything in detail. The movie is not to be missed. Also its an excellent place to have a day's Picnic and the natural beauty is truly breathtaking. We are so glad that we included this in our trip. Every corner is field with too much of history. If you are a history geek you should visit this place for sure."

"We had a great time and learned some new things about the War of 1812. For visitors to the park, there are benches for folks who need a break during the walk around the fort. The staff are very friendly and informative. We were there in off season so it was easy to get around without a crowd."
