Reviews Summary
Visitors find Dong Dinh Museum to be a charming, nature-integrated cultural space with beautiful city views and a relaxing cafe. While not a traditional museum, its unique ambiance, traditional houses, and affordable entry make it a worthwhile visit, especially for families and photographers. Some note that expectations should be managed regarding the 'museum' aspect.
"This museum is a collection of historical old style houses on a hillside across the bay from Da Nang city. You get the perspective of how life was lived in those days, and how the homes were constructed with rooms / living quarters separated into separate buildings connected by little paths between them. Across the bay you have a lovely view of Da Nang city. You can enjoy a coffee of a pot of tea on the hillside and enjoy the view."

"Good place for coffee & chill!
I think they should seperate the museum and the coffee space into 2 seperate locations ( 1 for museum only, and 1 for coffee shop) because i don't think the coffee space deserved the bad reviews and low rate ( due to the museum ).
The coffee space become my favourite spot to chill everytime i visit Son Tra.
Best wish for the team who run the service."

"It’s a pity to see recent negative comments as we had a great visit here last weekend. it might not be a great option for short term tourists who is looking for a "real" museum experience.
We’re local family with kids and kids love it here. walking around different paths to explore the forest, checking different kinds of fish in the ponds, climbing big rocks, lying on the hammocks, playings with flowers and trees… the trees keep it cool and comfortable despite the hot weather. great view over the ocean and Danang city.
It's not really a museum so don't set high expectation regarding that."
