Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning panoramic views from Mount Ninderry's summit, calling it a rewarding hike with a great workout. It's highly praised as a dog-friendly option close to Brisbane, though the steep summit steps can be challenging for some. The lack of facilities and limited parking are noted drawbacks.

"This is one of the dog-friendly hikes closest to Brisbane, making it a great option for a day trip with your furry friend. The hike to the top is enjoyable and offers a unique experience. However, it's important to note that the trail includes some steep steps near the summit, which may not be suitable for senior dogs or people with mobility issues, such as those with arthritis or the elderly.

That said, it’s a great workout for those who are up for the challenge!

Be aware that there are no restrooms or water fountains along the trail, so be sure to bring enough water for yourself and your dog. We arrived around 10am on a weekend and found only two parking spots left, so I recommend getting there early to secure a space."

"Views are amazing, the walk up is very steep with a lot of steps to the top. (Take plenty of water for yourselves and your 4 legged mate). I am a fit person and find this walk gives my heart a good work out! ♥️♥️♥️. Dog friendly (on a lead). I’ve included some pics from the top."

"Mount Ninderry walking trail is a really great walk up Mount Ninderry (304M above sea level). At 1400M long, for this track I would say you don’t need to be very fit at all -I’m not. There is a latter section with a fair few steep steps, but it is nowhere near as gruelling as Mount Coolum. They have installed a couple of barriers at the main Eastern and Western Lookouts but there are several other spots where you can appreciate a good view if you are careful of the cliff edge. The sign says allow 3H return trip, but I did it in 1H. Nice walk."
