Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Port Germein Jetty for its historical significance and stunning coastal views, especially during sunrise and sunset. The unique experience of walking the beach at low tide is a major highlight, offering a sense of peace and discovery. However, concerns exist regarding the jetty's structural integrity and access due to storm damage, with some finding the town itself to have limited amenities.

"I could not walk along the jetty as it’s closed due to flooding and damage. Which I was excited to do as it’s the longest Jetty in South Australia. But next to the jetty I walked for roughly 1km at low tide along the beach till I got to the ocean. It was a beautiful experience, and I had the beach to myself. By the time I got to the waters edge the tide was coming in, the water was crystal clear with adorable fish and a sun setting infront of my eyes, with the mountains behind me and a long stretched beach on all angles I felt at peace. This was a wonderful experience, hopefully the jetty will be open soon."

Access is denied by Authorities for safety!!
Funding is hard to find it appears these days so locals aren’t convinced it will be saved"
